Gulping pain, looking for paradise,

There's a calm within, tired to complain,

Shiny knight, where art thou now?

Grazing blades, blood spills more pain,

No pain no gain is what we are taught,

Destiny's game, rolling it's dice,

Moving life, should we drown in despair?

Erratic thoughts, claiming our life,

Ticking seconds, racing us to nowhere,

Patience, a virtue or poison in disguise?

Eyes meant to see, forced in blindfold,

Breath after breath, our spirit controlled,

Masquerade world, why steal our peace?
